5 typical symptoms of ectopic pregnancy

Ectopic pregnancy refers to the fertilized egg being affected by certain factors and implanting and developing outside the uterine cavity, such as the fallopian tube, uterine horn, abdominal cavity, ovary, etc. Because the implantation site is narrow and thin-walled, it cannot fully expand and cannot adapt to the growth and development of the fertilized egg, which can cause a series of uncomfortable symptoms in patients with ectopic pregnancy.

1. Menopause

Ectopic pregnancy can disrupt the patient's normal menstrual cycle, leading to irregular menstruation or even amenorrhea. Most patients have a history of amenorrhea for about 6 weeks. However, some patients may have insufficient chorionic gonadotropin produced by chorionic villus tissue to maintain the endometrium, or may have pathological

Bleeding is mistaken for menstruation and there is no history of amenorrhea.

2. Severe abdominal pain

Abdominal pain is a typical symptom of ectopic pregnancy. Before miscarriage or rupture of fallopian tube pregnancy, in addition to short-term amenorrhea and pregnancy symptoms, there may be bloating and tingling in one side of the lower abdomen. In severe cases, there may even be cold sweats or even shock. When rupture occurs, the patient suddenly feels a tearing pain in one side of the lower abdomen, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting.

3. Syncope and shock

It is mainly caused by acute intra-abdominal bleeding and severe pain, which is a symptom that occurs when the disease is more serious or the onset is sudden.

4. Irregular vaginal bleeding

Most of them are in the form of drops, dark brown, small amount, not exceeding the amount of menstruation. Vaginal bleeding is caused by endometrial ablation or fallopian tube bleeding discharged through the uterine cavity. Abdominal pain accompanied by vaginal bleeding is often a sign of embryo damage.

5. Other symptoms

Other symptoms that may occur include nausea, vomiting, frequent urination, pale complexion, cold sweats, and decreased blood pressure.
