What are the adverse factors of irregular menstruation in women?

Nowadays, many women have irregular menstruation, which is mainly manifested by irregular menstruation cycle or abnormal bleeding. In addition to organic diseases, many bad habits in life can also cause or aggravate irregular menstruation.

1. Addiction to alcohol and cigarettes

Nowadays, social activities are inevitable at work, and many women have become a large group of smokers and drinkers. Nicotine in tobacco and alcohol in wine can reduce the secretion of sex hormones, interfere with physiological processes related to menstruation, cause irregular menstruation, and aggravate abdominal discomfort during menstruation.

2. Depression

Women who are depressed for a long time, pessimistic, or suffer from great mental stimulation and psychological trauma may also have irregular menstruation. This is because menstruation is formed after the hormones secreted by the ovaries stimulate the endometrium, and the hormones secreted by the ovaries are controlled by the hormones released by the pituitary gland and hypothalamus. Therefore, any abnormality in the function of the ovaries, pituitary gland, or hypothalamus will affect menstruation.

3. Constipation due to prolonged sitting

Nowadays, people spend longer and longer periods of time sitting, whether they are working or entertaining. Sitting for long periods of time can cause constipation. For women, it can cause menstrual disorders and dysmenorrhea. Long-term sitting can cause the uterus to tilt retroverted, and the veins in the broad ligament are compressed and blocked, which can cause congestion of the uterine wall over time, leading to low back pain and menstrual disorders.

4. Excessive weight loss

Pursuing a slim figure is every girl's dream. Many women diet excessively to lose weight. Insufficient energy intake causes a large amount of fat and protein to be consumed in the body, resulting in estrogen synthesis disorders and obvious deficiency, which affects menstruation and may even lead to scanty menstruation or amenorrhea.
