Washing your private parts too clean can easily lead to ectopic pregnancy

95% of ectopic pregnancies occur in the fallopian tube. If the normal movement of the fertilized egg to the uterus is delayed or prevented for various reasons, causing the fertilized egg to be blocked in the fallopian tube, an ectopic pregnancy may occur. Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and salpingitis are common causes of ectopic pregnancy. If you have had an ectopic pregnancy once, the probability of another ectopic pregnancy is higher.

Some women often do vaginal douching, and they believe that vaginal douching can increase the vagina's antibacterial ability and assist in the treatment of various types of vaginitis. In fact, vaginal douching can only be used occasionally under the guidance of a doctor. As long as you wash the vulva and change your underwear every day, you can achieve the purpose of cleansing without vaginal douching. Frequent vaginal douching can destroy the balance of the vaginal environment, causing gynecological diseases such as salpingitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility, and even ectopic pregnancy. Moreover, when the contaminated solution that is not strictly disinfected or even unsterilized enters the fallopian tube, it can cause fallopian tube infection with no obvious symptoms, or salpingitis and pelvic inflammatory disease; in addition, the infectious pathogens that originally existed in the vagina or cervix can invade the fallopian tube during vaginal douching.

After tubal pregnancy, due to the thin wall of the fallopian tube, the fertilized egg will develop to a certain stage, which will cause abortion or rupture of the tubal pregnancy and internal bleeding. The fallopian tube muscles are weak and cannot effectively stop bleeding. If there is a lot of bleeding, it can cause shock. About 1/3 of patients with ectopic pregnancy are in a state of pre-shock or shock when they are admitted to the hospital, which is life-threatening.
