Oral Chinese medicine combined with fumigation and washing for the treatment of vulvar leukoplakia

At present, the cause of vulvar leukoplakia has not been clearly identified. It is a vulvar hypopigmentation disease. The treatment of vulvar leukoplakia can be achieved by oral administration of Chinese medicine that nourishes the liver and kidneys and clears away dampness and heat. At the same time, fumigation and washing of the affected area can have a certain therapeutic effect.

Oral Chinese medicine

Ingredients: processed Polygonum multiflorum, wolfberry, Chinese angelica, white peony root, epimedium, sophora flavescens, lithospermum officinale, and oldenlandia diffusa.

Dosage: Decoction the above medicines in water twice, take 300 ml of juice, take it twice a day, morning and evening, 1 dose per day.

Fumigation of Chinese medicine

Ingredients: processed Polygonum multiflorum, Sophora flavescens, Herba Lycopodii, Fructus Cnidium monnieri, Phellodendron chinense, Psoralea corylifolia, Scutellaria barbata, Epimedium, Lithospermum officinale, Fructus Kochiae, Saposhnikovia divaricata.

Fumigation method: decoct the above medicines in water twice, take 1000 ml of juice, fumigate twice in the morning and evening, each time for 10 to 20 minutes. The temperature should be warm to the touch. One course of treatment is 3 months.

Treatment effect standard

Cure: The patient's clinical symptoms and signs disappeared, the vulvar pigmentation basically returned to normal, and the atypical hyperplasia in pathological sections disappeared.

Markedly effective: The patient's clinical symptoms and signs improved significantly, the vulvar pigmentation basically returned to normal, but the skin color was lighter, and the atypical hyperplasia disappeared in pathological sections.

Effective: The patient's clinical symptoms improved, with no significant changes in physical signs. Vulvar itching was significantly alleviated, but the vulva was still rough and cracked, and pathological sections showed varying degrees of keratinization.

Ineffective: The patient's clinical symptoms and signs remained unchanged. Vulvar itching, pain, whiteness, cracks and ulcers did not change after treatment, and pathological sections still showed atypical hyperplasia.
