The treatment of functional uterine bleeding in adolescence cannot be ignored

Dysfunctional uterine bleeding during adolescence is a special menstrual disorder during adolescence. Due to the unstable ovarian function and inadequate endocrine regulation of some girls, the menstrual cycle is disrupted, and there are functional changes such as prolonged menstruation and increased menstrual volume. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding during adolescence is generally caused by physiological reasons, that is, it has nothing to do with disease.

In the early stage of puberty, when the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis is not yet mature and complete, factors such as mental stress, stimulation, overwork, obesity, etc. can affect any one or more links, resulting in ovarian failure to ovulate. This is clinically manifested as irregular menstruation, such as early or late menstruation, more or less bleeding, and more bleeding can also lead to anemia. This situation is common adolescent dysfunctional uterine bleeding, referred to as adolescent functional uterine bleeding.

If menstruation is still irregular after treatment for puberty functional uterine bleeding, further examination and evaluation are needed. It is not enough to rely on experience to judge whether a child's menstrual disorder is normal. Instead, professional doctors need to make corresponding judgments and treatments based on each child's different menstrual abnormalities, corresponding examination results, and preliminary diagnosis.

When a child has menstrual abnormalities, mothers must pay more attention and take the child to the hospital for examination if necessary to avoid delaying diagnosis and treatment.
