Who are the high-risk groups for cervical erosion?

Who are the high-risk groups for cervical erosion?

In daily life, some women have a higher chance of cervical erosion, mainly including the following categories:

1. Early marriage, early childbearing, and high prolificacy

Premature and frequent childbirth can easily damage the immature cervix, induce infection, and cause cervical erosion.

2. Those who have had multiple artificial abortions

Artificial abortion is usually performed by surgery to terminate pregnancy, which is very harmful to women. Multiple surgeries may cause varying degrees of damage to the cervix, giving bacteria an opportunity to invade, leading to infection and subsequent cervical erosion.

3. People who have sex too early or too frequently

The cervical tissue cells of young girls have not yet matured and are more sensitive to external pathogens. If they have sexual intercourse too early, change sexual partners frequently, or have sexual intercourse too frequently (more than 4 times a week), the chance of cervical erosion in women will increase significantly.

4. People who sit for long periods of time

Sitting for a long time can cause congestion in the female pelvis and poor blood circulation. At the same time, sitting for a long time can cause poor ventilation in the female genitals, which is prone to bacterial growth. Combining the above factors, women who sit for a long time are also prone to cervical erosion.

5. Blindly use gynecological wash

Some women are accustomed to using cleaning products to clean their genitals. However, long-term and excessive use of gynecological washes can easily disrupt the balance of normal vaginal flora, reduce its ability to inhibit pathogens, and even cause varying degrees of cervical epithelial damage, leading to cervical erosion.

In addition to the above situations, male partners with long foreskin and those who do not pay attention to hygiene during sexual life are also at high risk of cervical erosion.
