What are the physical treatments for cervical erosion?

Cervical erosion is harmful to women's health and can cause cervical polyps and cysts. Moderate and severe cervical erosion can even lead to infertility. Therefore, timely and active treatment is very important. At present, there are many clinical treatment methods, including drug therapy, physical therapy, etc. Among them, physical therapy methods mainly include the following:

1. Electric ironing therapy

Use a special electric iron to burn the eroded surface tissue, causing it to necrotize and fall off. It should be noted that a certain depth must be reached to achieve a better treatment effect.

2. Cryotherapy

A special rapid freezing device is used to freeze, necrotize and fall off the lesion tissue on the cervical erosion surface. The commonly used cryogen is liquid nitrogen. After this method of treatment, patients generally have no adverse reactions, but a few patients may experience symptoms such as dizziness and lower abdominal pain.

3. Laser treatment

A special laser treatment head is used to irradiate the cervical erosion tissue, causing the erosion tissue to carbonize, form scabs, and fall off. Currently, the more common carbon dioxide laser treatment device has no adverse reactions after treatment. A few patients may bleed when the scabs fall off.

4. Treatment with KS therapeutic device

Through the light effect, the eroded surface tissue degenerates, necrotizes, and falls off layer by layer, which can improve microcirculation and tissue nutrition, promote inflammation absorption and tissue recovery. The wound surface recovers better without leaving scars, and the patient has no obvious side effects after treatment.
