Gua Sha is economical and effective in treating amenorrhea

Amenorrhea is divided into primary and secondary types. Those who have not had menstruation after the age of 18 are called primary amenorrhea. After the menarche, excluding factors such as pregnancy, lactation, and menopause, those who have stopped menstruating for more than 3 months are called secondary amenorrhea. Western medicine divides amenorrhea into uterine, ovarian, pituitary, hypothalamic amenorrhea and amenorrhea caused by systemic diseases according to the different sites of the lesions. The clinical manifestations are complex and vary according to the nature of the lesions. Traditional Chinese medicine calls this disease "amenorrhea", "female yin", "menstrual water cessation", etc.

【Diagnosis points】

Anyone who is over 18 years old and has not had menstruation can be diagnosed with this disease. However, reproductive system malformations must be excluded. During normal menstruation, those who have amenorrhea for more than 3 months can also be diagnosed with this disease.

【Gua Sha Method】

Take Dazhui, Jianjing, Gaohuang, Shentang points, and scrape Qihai to Guanyuan, Xuehai, Sanyinjiao, 5 times. For blood deficiency, scrape Pishu, Zhangmen, Zusanli, and for blood stasis, scrape Ganshu and Taichong meridian points. Scrape the main acupoints and Ganshu and Taichong meridian points for about 3 minutes, and scrape other meridian points for 3 to 5 minutes.
