Experts explain the causes of ectopic pregnancy

Ectopic pregnancy is a very dangerous gynecological disease, which often occurs in the fallopian tube and is extremely harmful to female friends. What are the common causes of ectopic pregnancy ? Let's ask experts to tell you about the common causes of ectopic pregnancy.

Common causes of ectopic pregnancy include:

1. Sheung Wan:

According to medical textbooks, about 3% of women who have had an IUD will still get pregnant. Therefore, even if an IUD is used, ectopic pregnancy should be considered if abdominal pain occurs. As for diarrhea, it is because intra-abdominal bleeding stimulates the intestines, causing faster intestinal peristalsis and diarrhea. Therefore, as long as a woman of childbearing age has abdominal pain, she must first rule out the potentially fatal danger of ectopic pregnancy. This is a common cause of ectopic pregnancy.

2. History of ectopic pregnancy:

Women who have had an ectopic pregnancy are more likely to have another one, but interestingly, another ectopic pregnancy usually occurs in the opposite fallopian tube. Therefore, once again, women who are not ready to have a baby must do a good job of contraception.

3. Fallopian tube inflammation:

About 60% of patients with tubal pregnancy have a history of salpingitis. Recurrent chronic salpingitis causes adhesion of tubal mucosal folds, stenosis of the lumen, damage to cilia, or twisting of the tubal mucosa due to inflammation and adhesion to surrounding tissues, which can prevent the normal movement of the fertilized egg, so that the fertilized egg cannot reach the uterine cavity as expected and implants in the fallopian tube. This is also one of the common causes of ectopic pregnancy.

4. Abnormal fallopian tube development or after fallopian tube surgery:

Tubal pregnancy may be caused by an overly long fallopian tube, lack of mucociliary tissue, or recanalization after tubal ligation or tuboplasty.

5. Migratory ovum:

When one ovary ovulates, the fertilized egg migrates to the opposite fallopian tube through the uterine cavity or abdominal cavity after fertilization. This is called migration of the fertilized egg. As the fertilized egg gradually grows during the migration process, when it cannot pass through the fallopian tube, that is, when it implants in the fallopian tube, a tubal pregnancy occurs. This is also a cause of ectopic pregnancy.

The above is an introduction to the common causes of ectopic pregnancy. I hope it will be helpful to everyone. Once you have an ectopic pregnancy, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time to avoid serious delays in the condition.
