Brief analysis of clinical symptoms of candidal vaginitis

Many female friends may have heard of candidal vaginitis, but they are not very clear about the clinical symptoms of candidal vaginitis . So what are the clinical symptoms of candidal vaginitis? Let's talk about the clinical symptoms of candidal vaginitis.

The clinical symptoms of candidal vaginitis usually include increased leucorrhea, itching and burning sensation of the vulva and vagina, painful urination, redness and edema around the vulva, and various epidermal changes. Very shallow vesicular papules may occur in groups. Eczematous erosions may also form, which are limited to the vulva or extend to the perineum, around the anus and femoral genital folds, and even to the inner and outer thighs, which is completely similar to acute or subacute eczema. The mucosa near the labia and clitoris is thickened, and the skin surfaces that contact each other are flushed and eroded. Some may cause tiny white pustules, and in severe cases, ulcers, vulvar pain and local lymphadenopathy may occur.

Leucorrhea is not necessarily a prominent symptom of candidal vaginitis, but watery leucorrhea, curd-like or ointment-like leucorrhea, may be a clinical symptom of candidal vaginitis. For example, some are completely thin, like clear serous exudate, but often contain white flakes; others are viscous, like curd or crumbs. There are often two completely different clinical manifestations. About half of the patients with candidal vaginitis have a lot of watery or purulent leucorrhea without white flakes, and the vaginal mucosa is moderately red and edematous, without severe itching and burning, only the vulva feels wet. Another type of candidal vaginitis patient has a typical curd-like or flaky viscous leucorrhea, the vaginal mucosa is highly red and swollen, with white flaky films (such as thrush) attached and easy to peel off; underneath is the eroded base of the damaged mucosa or the formation of shallow ulcers, and severe cases may leave ecchymosis, with severe itching and burning. During pregnancy, the itching symptoms of candidal vaginitis are more severe.

The above is an explanation of the clinical symptoms of candidal vaginitis. Once the clinical symptoms of candidal vaginitis appear, you must go to the hospital for examination and treatment immediately to avoid serious impact on your life and work.
