What are the symptoms of vaginitis?

What are the symptoms of vaginitis? Vaginitis is the most common disease among female friends. It is caused by many reasons. Below, experts will introduce the symptoms of vaginitis.

What are the symptoms of vaginitis? Experts say that vaginitis is mainly spread through baths, tubs, swimming pools and clothing. The main symptoms of trichomoniasis vaginitis are vulvar itching and abnormal vaginal discharge, increased vaginal discharge, and light yellow foam. In severe cases of vaginitis, the vaginal discharge will be mixed with blood, and there will be a burning sensation and sexual pain. If it is complicated by urinary tract infection, frequent urination and painful urination will occur, and some patients may even have hematuria. The symptoms of vaginitis are as follows:

1. Candidal vaginitis: vulvar itching, vulvar and vaginal burning pain, increased leucorrhea with a tofu-dreg-like appearance, sometimes accompanied by frequent urination, dysuria, and pain during sexual intercourse. During gynecological examination, white film-like substances can be seen attached to the inner side of the labia minora and the vaginal mucosa, which will be exposed after wiping to reveal the red and swollen mucosal surface. In the acute phase, damaged erosive surfaces or superficial ulcers can be seen.

2. Trichomonas vaginitis: The typical symptoms of this type of vaginitis are increased leucorrhea, which is milky white or yellow, sometimes purulent, often foamy and smelly. In severe cases, there is bloody leucorrhea, dysuria, frequent urination, and hematuria.

3. Nonspecific vaginitis: The vagina feels like it is falling, burning, accompanied by pelvic discomfort and general fatigue. Vaginal discharge increases, and is purulent, serous, and has a foul odor. Since the discharge irritates the urethra, it can cause frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating.

4. Bacterial vaginitis: The typical symptoms of this type of vaginitis are increased leucorrhea, grayish white, thin, foamy, congested vaginal mucosa, scattered bleeding spots, vulvar itching and burning pain, and foul odor in the vulva.

5. Senile vaginitis: increased leucorrhea, yellow and watery in color, purulent and smelly in severe cases, sometimes bloody or accompanied by spotting, itching or burning sensation in the vulva, dryness and pain, distension in the lower abdomen, and when the urethra is affected, there are frequent, urgent and painful urination.
