Four ways to help you get rid of cervicitis

Four ways to help you get rid of cervicitis

Cervicitis is a common gynecological disease. It is divided into acute and chronic types, and the most common is chronic cervicitis. The main clinical symptoms of chronic cervicitis are increased vaginal discharge with odor, bloody vaginal discharge or bleeding after sexual intercourse when accompanied by polyps. So, how should this type of cervicitis be treated?

In response to the treatment of chronic cervicitis, gynecological experts have proposed the following four methods:

1. Microwave therapy: It uses the thermal and non-thermal effects of microwaves on organisms. It can dilate blood vessels, promote local blood circulation, increase cell permeability, improve tissue nutritional status, enhance regeneration capacity, promote erosion healing, and achieve the purpose of treatment.

2. Laser treatment: Laser treatment of cervicitis, during the treatment process, carbon dioxide laser is often used to irradiate the eroded surface with a beam of light, so that the eroded tissue is carbonized and scabs form. After the scabs fall off, new squamous epithelium can grow. The vaginal burning sensation is very strong, and the trauma to the vagina and the inner wall is relatively large. What is more serious is that after 1-2 weeks of laser treatment of cervical erosion, the vagina will discharge bloody secretions. Some people bleed when the secretions come off, which may cause infertility for women who do not have babies!

3. Cryotherapy: Some people with cervicitis will suffer from autonomic nervous system dysfunction due to low temperature stimulation, resulting in dizziness, lower abdominal distension and pain, etc. After treatment, there will be more vaginal discharge, which will last for 2-3 weeks.

4. Ironing treatment: There may be pain during cervicitis surgery. There will be more vaginal discharge within 2-3 days after the operation, and a small amount of vaginal bleeding within 2 weeks. It will take 2-3 weeks for the wound to fall off and the squamous epithelium to begin to repair.

The above four methods are the most commonly used treatments for cervicitis. Many patients have achieved good results using these methods. However, different patients have different symptoms, so the specific treatment plans they choose are also different. Therefore, which method to use to treat cervicitis still depends on the patient's own detailed situation.
