What to do with pelvic fluid accumulation after cystectomy

After some surgeries, especially some gynecological surgeries, such as after cystectomy, pelvic effusion may be more likely to occur due to carelessness during the operation. What should I do if there is pelvic effusion after cystectomy?

The causes of postoperative pelvic effusion are:

When female friends undergo some artificial surgery, IUD surgery, hysterosalpingography and other surgeries, if the disinfection during the operation is not very strict, it is easy to cause infection problems for women after the operation. And if women do not pay attention to personal hygiene after the operation, do not follow the doctor's instructions for recovery treatment, have sex too early after treatment, etc., it will cause bacteria to continue to grow and cause female pelvic infection, causing female pelvic inflammation. Therefore, female friends must pay attention to personal hygiene during surgery to avoid infection.

The reasons show that it is caused by weak body, low resistance and susceptibility to infection. So how should it be treated at this time?

The treatment is mainly based on medication:

1. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment

It mainly clears away heat, detoxifies, cools blood and reduces inflammation, and then focuses on promoting qi and blood circulation, softening and dispersing nodules, and breaking up blood stasis and promoting new blood.

2. Western medicine treatment

Antibiotics are the main treatment for infection, and surgery is performed when necessary. Broad-spectrum antibiotics are selected based on experience to cover possible pathogens, including Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Chlamydia trachomatis, Mycoplasma, anaerobic bacteria, and aerobic bacteria.

3. Other drug treatments

When using anti-inflammatory drugs, 5 mg of α-chymotrypsin or 1500 U of hyaluronidase can also be used at the same time, intramuscular injection, once every other day, 5 to 10 times as a course of treatment, to facilitate the absorption of adhesion and inflammation. If some patients have local or systemic allergic reactions, the drug should be discontinued. In some cases, antibiotics are used at the same time as dexamethasone, oral dexamethasone 0.75 mg, 3 times a day, pay attention to gradually reduce the dose when stopping the drug.

At the same time, you should pay attention to personal hygiene to avoid being infected with other diseases again.
