Do I have to stay in bed and rest after a painless abortion?

Painless abortion is a technique for artificial abortion of early pregnancy patients in family planning or eugenics. If there is no anesthesia or painless operation of artificial abortion, just like curettage, through the intrauterine suction device, it may cause serious autonomic dysfunction, making the patient feel very uncomfortable. Painless abortion takes specific treatment measures to address this discomfort.

Please note the following:

1. Avoid sexual intercourse one week before the abortion. Do not eat on the morning of the operation and keep an empty stomach. Keep a good attitude and don't be nervous, because painless abortion is painless, so there is no need to worry or be afraid.

2. After the abortion, you need to rest in the hospital for two hours. After returning home, you should try to stay in bed for a few days. Usually, the lower body will bleed for three to five days, sometimes longer, but not more than ten to fifteen days. If the bleeding lasts too long, you should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible.

3. Avoid sexual intercourse for one month after the operation. Wash your private parts with warm water every day to prevent infection. After recovery, take contraceptive measures to avoid another unwanted pregnancy.

4. After an artificial abortion, the body is weak and prone to sweating. In order to reduce the evaporation of water, you should choose to replenish water in multiple times. A large amount of water-soluble vitamins, especially vitamins, are excreted in sweat. Eating more fresh vegetables and fruits can help you increase your nutrient intake and effectively prevent constipation.

5. On the basis of daily diet, appropriately limit fat intake. Within one week after surgery, daily fat intake should be controlled at about 80 grams. For women with irregular menstruation, they should avoid eating irritating foods such as chili peppers, wine, vinegar, pepper, ginger, etc., because these foods will stimulate congestion of sexual organs and increase menstrual volume. They should also avoid eating cold foods such as crabs, snails, river clams, etc.
