What are the symptoms of pelvic endometriosis? When endometrial tissue appears outside the surface of the uterine cavity, it is called endometriosis, hereinafter referred to as endometriosis. It causes periodic bleeding under the influence of changes in ovarian hormones, accompanied by proliferation and adhesion of surrounding fibrous tissue. The vast majority of endometriosis is on the peritoneal surface of the pelvic genitals and adjacent organs, and is often clinically called pelvic endometriosis. Its symptoms are: 1. Infertility: Endometriosis patients are often accompanied by infertility. It is reported that primary infertility caused by endometrial displacement accounts for 41.5% to 43.3%, and secondary infertility accounts for F.6% to 47.3%. Pelvic endometriosis often causes adhesions around the fallopian tubes, affecting oocyte pickup or tube lumen blockage; or ovarian lesions affect normal ovulation and cause infertility. 2. Excessive menstruation: In case of endometriosis, the menstrual volume tends to increase and the menstrual period is prolonged. It may be caused by the increase of endometrium, but it is mainly accompanied by ovarian dysfunction. 3. Dysmenorrhea: Common and prominent symptoms are mainly secondary, that is, since the onset of endometriosis, patients have told that they did not have pain during menstruation in the past, and dysmenorrhea has started at a certain period. It can occur before, during and after menstruation. Some dysmenorrhea is so severe that they need to stay in bed or take medicine to relieve the pain. The pain usually worsens with the menstrual cycle. 4 Pain during sexual intercourse: Endometriosis occurs in the rectouterine fossa and vaginal rectal septum, causing swelling of the surrounding tissues, affecting sexual life and aggravating sexual discomfort before menstruation. 5. Stool swelling: It usually occurs in the early or after menstruation. The patient feels unbearable pain in the rectum, but does not feel this way at other times. Patients with endometriosis lesions that form strictures around the rectum have symptoms of urgency and obstruction, which is similar to cancer. 6 Bladder symptoms: Endometriosis is more common in the bladder, with symptoms of cyclical frequent urination and painful urination; cyclical hematuria may occur when invading the bladder mucosa. |
