How to treat cervical hypertrophy

How to treat cervical hypertrophy

Cervical hypertrophy is usually related to chronic inflammatory stimulation. The treatment method depends on the cause and specific severity. It is recommended to seek medical attention as soon as possible and receive professional evaluation and treatment from a doctor.

Cervical hypertrophy is a common problem in the female reproductive system. It is actually the abnormal proliferation of cervical glands or stroma. It may be caused by chronic cervicitis, long-term unhealed cervical erosion, or improper gynecological operation. If ignored and not treated, it may have an adverse effect on cervical function and the risk of infection spread cannot be ruled out.

For mild cervical hypertrophy, conservative treatment is usually adopted, such as anti-inflammatory drugs and local medication to help improve inflammation; if the condition is serious and accompanied by obvious symptoms, physical therapy may be needed, such as laser, cryotherapy or microwave therapy to help repair the diseased tissue. Surgical treatment is for particularly serious conditions or suspected precancerous lesions, such as partial removal of diseased cervical tissue.

Daily care is also very important. Pay attention to the hygiene of the genitals and avoid excessive washing. Develop the habit of regular gynecological examinations, especially for women with a history of chronic inflammation or cervical lesions. Follow the doctor's instructions to complete the course of treatment when dealing with infection. If you feel uncomfortable or suspected related symptoms (such as increased vaginal discharge, contact bleeding, etc.), please go to the hospital for examination immediately.
