How to Identify Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

How to identify pelvic inflammatory disease?

Pelvic inflammatory disease has been a serious threat to women's health for many years and is also accompanied by many symptoms, but many people do not know how to identify pelvic inflammatory disease. To effectively identify pelvic inflammatory disease, you must first understand the corresponding symptoms, such as whether pelvic pain, systemic symptoms or menstrual abnormalities occur frequently.

1. Pelvic pain

In fact, pelvic inflammation will also cause obvious adhesions and pelvic congestion. If these symptoms are not controlled in time, they will often cause lower abdominal swelling, pain and lumbar pain. If you are tired for a long time or it is more severe before and after sexual intercourse and before and after menstruation, if the pain is more severe, it may also affect your daily work.

2. Cause infertility

In order to quickly identify pelvic inflammation, you first need to combine your personal situation. After suffering from pelvic inflammation, infertility and ectopic pregnancy will also occur due to adhesion and blockage of the fallopian tubes. In the end, the probability of infertility will be around 20%. As the disease progresses, the probability of infertility will gradually show an upward trend, so it must be taken seriously.

3. Abnormal menstruation

Many symptoms will appear after pelvic inflammation, and these symptoms can also be used to distinguish whether they are suffering from the disease. In fact, after pelvic inflammation, it will first cause endometritis, often with increased leucorrhea, menstrual disorders, menstrual blood dysmenorrhea, and sexual discomfort. If the pelvic congestion is more serious, it will also increase the amount of menstruation and may even cause menstrual abnormalities.

4. Systemic symptoms

There are many ways to identify pelvic inflammation, such as checking whether there are systemic symptoms. Generally, the symptoms of patients with pelvic inflammation are not obvious, but sometimes only low fever and fatigue. Due to the long course of the disease, some patients may have obvious symptoms of neurasthenia, such as depression, general discomfort, insomnia, etc. If the resistance gradually decreases, a more acute attack will occur.
