What's wrong with menstruation after one year of menopause?

What's wrong with having menstruation again after one year of menopause?

Menopause is usually caused by senile vaginitis, atrophic endometritis, polycystic ovary syndrome, uterine fibroids, cervical cancer, etc.

1. Senile vaginitis:

It may be caused by aging, because aging will lead to a decrease in estrogen, which will induce this disease. The decrease in estrogen will also affect the shedding of the endometrium and make menstruation disappear. But when the hormone level in the body slowly stabilizes, menstruation will slowly appear. In this case, the patient needs to take drugs such as diethylstilbestrol tablets, ethinyl estradiol cyproterone acetate tablets, and estradiol valerate tablets as prescribed by the doctor.

2. Atrophic endometritis:

It may be caused by insufficient estrogen secretion, because local inflammation can cause the endometrium to thin, which can lead to abnormal menstruation. If there is improvement later, there may be a small amount of menstruation. In this case, you need to take metronidazole tablets, clindamycin hydrochloride capsules, gynecological Qianjin tablets and other drugs.

3. Polycystic ovary syndrome:

It is mainly caused by endocrine disorders, because this disease affects the maturation of follicles, causing the follicles to be unable to be discharged from the ovaries. At this time, progesterone will decrease, affecting menstruation. In this case, you need to take drugs such as progesterone soft capsules, motherwort granules, and clomiphene citrate capsules.

4. Uterine fibroids:

The causes include genetic factors and cellular factors. Because the tumor grows in the uterine cavity, it will affect the shedding of the endometrium and cause irregular menstruation. This situation requires hysteroscopic surgery.

5. Cervical cancer:

If you are exposed to chemicals for a long time, this disease may be induced, but the possibility of genetic factors cannot be ruled out. Because this disease can also grow malignant tumors in the cervix, there will also be menopause. If estrogen is secreted in the body in the future, it may cause menstruation to reappear. This situation needs to be treated by tumor resection.
