I believe many people have heard of pelvic effusion. Pelvic effusion is the presence of inflammatory exudate in the pelvic cavity, which can occur pathologically after pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis or endometriosis. Pelvic effusion has a great impact on the life and work of female patients. So, what should we do if there is a lot of leucorrhea due to pelvic effusion? Pelvic effusion can be divided into physiological and pathological. Physiological pelvic effusion usually occurs after ovulation or in early pregnancy, and usually disappears naturally without treatment. However, most pelvic effusion is caused by inflammation, such as chronic pelvic inflammatory exudation, ectopic pregnancy rupture, corpus luteum rupture, pelvic abscess, chocolate cyst, ovarian cancer, etc. If pelvic effusion causes excessive leucorrhea, the following methods can be used: Under normal physiological conditions, there will be a little vaginal discharge, which can moderately prevent vaginal dryness. However, if the amount of vaginal discharge increases, has an odor, or causes local itching, treatment is required. Liver-fire type leucorrhea is characterized by heavy leucorrhea, yellow color, foul odor, yellow and greasy tongue coating, increased or prolonged menstrual flow. This type of leucorrhea due to heat can be treated with modified prescriptions of Chinese medicine such as gentian, yam, Euryale ferox, ginkgo, phellodendron, and plantain. Spleen deficiency type leucorrhea is characterized by heavy leucorrhea, white in color like egg white, and without odor. Symptoms include general fear of cold and frequent urination. Chinese medicine for tonifying the spleen should be used, such as Atractylodes macrocephala, yam, ginseng, bupleurum, peony, licorice and other Chinese medicines to improve physical condition. Leucorrhea caused by damp-heat is characterized by thick yellow discharge, even with blood, foul odor, constipation, and lower abdominal pain. It can be improved with Chinese medicines such as angelica, white peony root, moutan bark, phellodendron, cyperus rotundus, and black beans. Leucorrhea caused by kidney deficiency is characterized by long-term excessive leucorrhea that is white, cool and watery, accompanied by soreness in the waist and knees, dizziness and tinnitus. It needs to be improved with kidney-tonifying Chinese medicine, such as yam, cornus officinalis, rehmannia glutinosa, eucommia bark, tribulus terrestris, euryale ferox, and lotus beard. |
