What are non-neoplastic ovarian cysts and what are the prevention tips?

What are non-neoplastic ovarian cysts? What are the tips for prevention?

1. Non-neoplastic ovarian cysts are also called non-neoplastic ovarian cysts. Most of them are functional cysts of the ovaries, including follicular cysts, corpus luteum cysts, lutein cysts, inflammatory ovarian cysts, polycystic ovaries, and endometriosis cysts, also known as ovarian chocolate cysts. Most ovarian cysts are non-neoplastic cysts, and the diameter rarely exceeds 5 cm. These cysts are not tumors, and most of them are benign and can disappear on their own without surgery. However, if the cyst is large or progressively enlarged or ruptured, it should also be surgically removed.

2. That is to say, once an ovarian cyst is found, it should be determined as soon as possible whether it is a tumorous cyst or a non-tumorous cyst. The diagnosis can be made based on the growth rate, size, characteristics of the tumor, and corresponding examinations, such as hysterosalpingography, intravenous pyelography, ultrasound diagnosis or abdominal tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and even laparoscopy and laparotomy. If it is the former, early surgical removal is required regardless of whether it is currently malignant.

Non-tumor ovarian cysts need to be prevented early, otherwise the consequences will be serious once they occur. The tips for prevention are:

1. Do not eat too much salty and spicy food, and do not eat overheated, overcold, expired or spoiled food; the elderly and weak or those with a genetic gene for certain diseases should eat some anti-cancer foods and alkaline foods with high alkaline content as appropriate to maintain a good mental state.

2. Have a good attitude to deal with stress, combine work and rest, and don't be overworked. It can be seen that stress is an important cause of cancer. Chinese medicine believes that stress leads to overwork and physical weakness, which in turn causes a decline in immune function, endocrine disorders, metabolic disorders in the body, and the deposition of acidic substances in the body; stress can also lead to mental tension, causing qi stagnation and blood stasis, and internal toxic fire.
