To lose weight, start the fire of rapid metabolism first! Master the five driving forces of repairing metabolism

Haley, a well-known American nutritionist. The Fast Metabolism Diet (FMD) plan designed by Haylie Pomroy is highly praised in Hollywood and the medical community because it can bring rapid and healthy weight loss results. With her background in animal husbandry, she studied the conversion relationship between food and muscle, and realized that the human body can also use food to stimulate sluggish and unbalanced metabolism, turning the body into a furnace that burns fat. The following will mention the five major drivers of repairing metabolism.

Much of my training came from holistic health, and my colleagues love to talk about the connection between mind, body, and spirit. They say that there is no wholeness if the mind, body and spirit are not included. I think this is all great and I agree with it in theory, but at the same time I'm not quite sure what it means or how to do it in practice?

As a person with an agricultural background, I have constructed my own version of the explanation for this concept. Instead of saying mind, body, and spirit, I would rather say "brain, flesh, and hormones." This version isn't as nice, and is more of a freak, but I personally think it's easier to understand.

First, the brain—or "heart"—is essential to health. What is your opinion on food? How do you make decisions to develop a healthy relationship with food? How do you make conscious choices about health in your life? How do you cope with stress? As discussed in the previous chapter, to change your life, your relationship with food, and your mindset about health, you have to be clear-headed and know what you are doing.

Next comes the body. To live well, you must have a strong physique—compact bones, strong muscles, clean blood and soft skin. You must take action to keep your body in the best condition possible so that you can feel strong and healthy, and burn, store, or use energy to build your body according to your physical needs, that is, the actual needs of your body.

Finally, hormones are like what is called "spirit". You can't see hormones, but they have a dramatic effect on everything you do, feel, and are like. Everything in your body is activated by hormone secretion. Hormones drive the heartbeat and control the storage and release of energy in the body. Balanced hormone function is crucial to a fast metabolism.

Another unique feature of hormones is that they respond to their surroundings or the outside world. For example, if you meet a handsome man or a beautiful woman, your heart will beat like a deer; or if you meet a scary man or an angry woman, your heart will suddenly feel like it is going to jump out. This is all the interaction of hormones, which transmit signals of perceived thoughts to the brain, thereby triggering physiological or physical reactions. The functioning of hormones affects your weight and health, and we need to find ways to regulate them to keep our bodies in optimal condition.

To stay healthy, you have to have your brain, body, and hormones working in perfect harmony.

Now let's look at the other two factors—physical and hormonal. You know what you are thinking, but you don't necessarily know how your liver is working inside your body, or what your thyroid is doing, or whether your hormones are balanced. But these are the things you should know.

The body is like a house—or a temple, and you should know what's going on inside this most precious building, especially what those operations can enable you to do to improve your health and achieve a faster metabolism. Let’s start with the five main drivers.
