Always have cold hands and feet? Be careful of pear-shaped body, get rid of lower body obesity and edema by doing this

The colder your legs and feet, the fatter your lower body

People with pear-shaped obesity are mostly sedentary housewives who do little exercise and do not add clothes when it is cold. The fat in the lower body is caused by laziness and cold.

Many women look elegant and graceful when sitting, with delicate faces and upper bodies, but become awkward when standing up - their lower bodies are fat, with all the flesh on their buttocks and thighs, and all of it is soft and weak. From a body shape perspective, they resemble pears.

This pear-shape shape is not only related to the secretion of estrogen, but also to body temperature: the colder the body, the fatter the lower body.

What are the dangers of having fat in the lower body?

People with fat lower body, if the waist-to-hip ratio of men is less than 0.8 and the waist-to-hip ratio of women is less than 0.7, are called "pear-shaped obesity". These people have much more fat in their muscles than the average person. The more fat in the muscles, the weaker the tension, and the greater the harm to the body.

Because people with high body fat are insensitive to insulin, this is medically known as "insulin resistance." A simple explanation is: others can stabilize their blood sugar with one gram of insulin, but they have to increase the dosage because their fat is like a wall, which affects the effect of insulin.

Over time, the pancreas, which secretes insulin, will be exhausted by excessive work, leading to insufficient secretion, making it easy to develop diabetes. Therefore, fat people are more likely to get diabetes than thin people, and fat people with diabetes are more difficult to treat. Among obese people, pear-shaped people are more at risk than those with other body shapes.

People with fat lower bodies are mostly women, because the estrogen in their bodies will cause more fat to accumulate in the buttocks and thighs; while the androgen in men will accumulate fat in the abdomen, so people with "big bellies" are mostly men.

Both men and women contain these two hormones, just in different amounts. After menopause, women's estrogen levels decrease and the ratio of estrogen to androgen changes. Belly fat increases, while fat in the lower body decreases, and the pear-shaped body is no longer present. Therefore, pear-shaped obesity is more common in relatively young women.

Why does a cold body lead to pear-shaped obesity?

In addition to the effects of estrogen, another important reason for the pear-shaped body is that the body is too cold.

Body temperature is maintained by energy, and fat is the main raw material of energy. It can only be burned and converted into energy in mitochondria, which means that mitochondria are the "boilers" of fat.

Wherever physiological activity is vigorous, there are more mitochondria and their functions are stronger. For example, a beating heart and a liver that is always on standby to detoxify contain many mitochondria. Apart from this, it has the most muscles.

When it is cold, you won't feel cold as long as you move, because when the muscles move, the mitochondria start working and the fat is converted into energy to keep out the cold. Therefore, in the severe winter, the ones who are not cold are definitely not fat people, but "muscle men". This is because the fat of fat people can only passively keep warm, while the mitochondria in the bodies of "muscle men" can actively generate energy and increase temperature. Not only are they not afraid of the cold, but they are also not easy to gain weight.

Most people with pear-shaped obesity are sedentary housewives who rarely exercise and have no chance to gain muscle, so the size of their "boiler" is naturally small. If you love beauty and are not afraid of a runny nose, and do not add clothes when it is cold, your body will have to make fat thicker in order to preserve the limited energy. From this perspective, fat in the lower body is caused by laziness and cold.

If the lower body is fat and accompanied by loose muscles, edema, and cold hands and feet, these people should pay special attention to keeping their legs and feet warm. For example, foot soaking is particularly important for them.

Foot soaking weight loss method for pear-shaped obesity

When soaking your feet, if you can add kidney-tonifying, yang-warming, and blood-activating medicines, such as cinnamon, eucommia, safflower, etc., it can promote blood circulation, enhance metabolism, and help burn fat. It can be regarded as a special weight loss method for pear-shaped obese people.
