The secret to not getting fat! Eat more high-water content foods

Before I explain this principle, I would like to ask you to list on paper all the food you have eaten today. If you have not eaten today, then list the food you ate yesterday. By the end of this chapter, this list will have become a powerful tool to help you achieve a certain point. As you list all the food, write down every detail, even the taste of the food. If your friend made her signature soufflé, write it down even if you only took one bite. If you remember, write down everything you ate. Now putting the list aside for a moment, let's move on to explaining the principle.

Women are made of water, and so are men

Water is indispensable for life and exists in food and air. From the moment you are born until you die, your body will instinctively crave food, air and water in order to keep you alive. You know what happens to plants when they lack water, they wither and die, and the same thing happens to your body when it lacks water, so water is obviously very important.

What do I mean by foods high in water content? Think about it, the planet we live on is more than 70% water, so much water is necessary for survival, and your body is also 70% water. So, if you want to keep your body in optimal condition, your diet must also contain at least 70% water. If your body is 70 percent water and you don't drink enough water regularly, where does that water come from? From the moment you are born until you take your last breath, your body is craving the essential elements of life, and you must replenish water to survive.

At this point some of you might be saying, "Ha! That's great! I drink eight glasses of water every day." But I'm not talking about drinking water. Drinking water won't get you to the goals I'm talking about. The high-water content foods I am talking about are two types of foods that grow from the earth and naturally contain extremely high amounts of water. Only two types of food meet this requirement, namely fruits and vegetables. The others are concentrated foods; concentrated means that the water has been drained away, which may be due to processing or cooking. I'm not telling you to eat only fruits and vegetables to lose weight. What I mean is that since our bodies are 70% water, the water content in our diet should be close to 70%. This means that the diet should be mainly vegetables and fruits, and the other 30% should be concentrated foods such as bread, grains, meat, dairy products and beans.

Water of Life that nourishes and cleanses

There are two very important reasons why we need so much water, and why drinking water alone is not enough to nourish and cleanse the body. Because water transports nutrients from food to all cells in the body and then eliminates toxic waste.

All the nutritional needs of the human body - vitamins, minerals, proteins, amino acids, enzymes, carbohydrates and fatty acids - are all found in fruits and vegetables. The nutrients in fruits and vegetables enter the body's intestines, which are responsible for absorbing nutrients, through water. If you consume foods with high water content, it means you are consuming foods that contain all the necessary nutrients for the human body.

Some people may say, "I take vitamin and mineral supplements every day." However, I am not referring to this kind of artificial nutrition. Vitamins and minerals that can be used by the human body can be obtained in large quantities in the orchard or vegetable garden, not bought from the pharmacy.

In addition to transporting nutrients to the human body, water also performs the necessary function of removing waste from the body. For the purposes of this course, cleansing and detoxing are equally important, and both are equally necessary when seeking to lose weight. Everything you own, no matter what it is, if you want it to be clean, you have to wash it regularly. For example, try wearing the same clothes for six months without taking them off. Of course you know I'm just kidding, you can't do that because the clothes will be so disgusting that you won't want to wear them anymore. What if you don’t wash your car for six months and it never rains? Your car could be so dirty that you can’t see out of the windows, or even drive it. It will just get this dirty. No matter what it is, if it is not cleaned it will get this dirty.

Think about it, is there anything that is not cleaned frequently? It's our internal organs! Our diet and lifestyle have never kept our bodies fully clean. No wonder 62 percent of the U.S. population is overweight, and three-quarters of the U.S. population is destined to develop some form of heart disease or cancer in their lifetime. Although we clean the outside of our bodies, the more important inside of our bodies cannot be cleansed. What I mean by this is that some people have never taken the necessary measures to excrete toxic waste from their bodies for decades or even their entire lives. The only way to achieve this goal is to consume foods that are high in water content. Remember, drinking water alone is useless because drinking water cannot bring enzymes and other elements necessary for life into the body like the water in vegetables and fruits. As long as you replenish water regularly, the three major circulatory functions of the human body can function smoothly.

From now on, every time you look at the food you are about to eat, just do this - look at the plate of food you are about to put into your body and ask yourself this simple question: "Will this food, fed to my noble and intelligent body, cleanse or clog my body?" Or ask it another way: "Will this meal be mainly fruits and vegetables?" This is an important question, ask yourself this question often, it's that simple. Will the food I am about to eat cleanse my body (help detoxify me) or will it clog my body?
