Double your weight loss energy! Understanding Concentrated Foods

Double your weight loss energy! Understanding Concentrated Foods

Energy is necessary for the all-important process of detoxification (elimination of toxic waste). If we can regularly detoxify our bodies, we can often lose weight and not gain it back. It takes energy to excrete waste, and the elimination cycle is extremely important. Without your cooperation, the body will not be able to excrete toxic waste. The way we assist the body is by providing a steady supply of energy that can be immediately utilized. This is how we achieve health and slimness. The body needs to have enough available energy to detoxify. If the body needs more energy to digest food than other functions, where do you think this energy comes from? Where else can we get energy? Of course it is obtained from the digestive tract!

The concept of dietary matching originated from the discovery that certain dietary combinations are easier to digest than other combinations. We can confirm the positive effects of the dietary matching principles from many biochemical phenomena, especially the chemical reactions of digestion. The key to this principle is energy. To maximize the energy and promote the digestive process, nothing is more helpful than proper diet combination.

Dietary combinations tell us that the human stomach cannot digest more than one concentrated food at the same time. This sentence is simple yet important. Remember the definition of concentrated food? Anything other than vegetables and fruits is concentrated food. Proper diet means that the human stomach cannot digest more than one concentrated food at a time. You should only eat one concentrated food at a time. It's that simple.

Meat + potatoes, no wonder you get fat

Nearly two-thirds of the population is overweight, and much of the blame is on the messy and haphazard mix of foods we eat. I'm sure you've all eaten meat with potatoes - the same goes for fish with rice, chicken with noodles, or bread with cheese. Imagine you're eating a steak, cooked the way you like it, and then you eat your baked potato. The beef goes into your stomach, and this concentrated protein needs a specific digestive juice to break it down - acidic gastric juice.

Now you might protest, "Wait, potatoes are vegetables!" Yes, potatoes are vegetables. If you put raw potatoes in your mouth, they are a high-water food when they enter your stomach. But once they are roasted, even if your jaw shrinks from chewing them, it will not turn into water. Once roasted, most of the water disappears, and it becomes a very concentrated starch texture. Such concentrated starch enters the stomach and mixes with the beef. It is not the acidic gastric juice that breaks down the starch, but the alkaline gastric juice. If you have taken a chemistry class, you know what happens when acid and base combine. Yes, the two will neutralize each other.

That is to say, you just ate steak and potatoes, and both entered your stomach, and the digestive juices needed to break down the food neutralized each other. So what happens to the food? The intelligent body immediately senses the emergency because the body's top priority is to digest food, so the body begins to stir and more digestive juices must be secreted, which takes time and energy. New digestive juices enter the stomach, and then what? They neutralize each other again. Now, the body is reaching its limit and needs more energy to secrete more digestive juice into the stomach. This process takes a long time.

The body will take several hours to produce digestive juices. When the digestive juices enter the stomach again, we begin to feel indigestion and stomach heartburn. Finally, the food that has not been properly digested will be directly discharged from the stomach due to the peristalsis of the intestines. The food stays in the stomach for so long that most of the protein has been corrupted and most of the carbohydrates have been fermented. Once the food has gone through corruption and fermentation, it cannot be used by the human body. The nutrients after these reactions cannot be absorbed into healthy cells.

Rotten or fermented food will produce toxins in the body, and decay and fermentation are usually accompanied by farting, flatulence, and acid indigestion. After all these tragic situations, there are stomach medicines to mess things up - our food is quite messy and randomly matched. When they are thrown into the stomach together, the body will not be able to bear it. We are the only animals on earth that have to take medicine to expel food from the intestines after eating it.

Keep away from corruption and fermentation

The principles of dietary matching express only one thing: we don't want to waste energy, we don't want food to rot in the stomach for eight hours, and then make a mess of the intestines within the next twenty hours. We hope that after food enters the stomach, it will only stay for about three hours, and not rot, ferment, cause bloating, cause constant flatulence, cause heartburn, or cause indigestion that requires taking stomach medicine. We hope that food passes through the intestines quickly and efficiently, and the way to do this is to only eat one concentrated food at a time, and not more than two. Eating two concentrated foods at the same time will cause the food to rot, and the rotten food cannot be absorbed! Improper food combinations can greatly hinder the absorption and elimination cycle.

There's an easy way to avoid this problem: if you want to eat steak, fish, or chicken, eat it! Just remember that if you want to eat meat, this is the only concentrated food in this meal. That is, you should not eat any other concentrated foods. No potatoes, rice, noodles, cheese or bread. Only high-water foods, such as broccoli or zucchini, or any vegetables you want to eat - vegetables do not require special digestive juices. Whether it is neutral, acidic or alkaline digestive juices, they can be broken down. You can steam the broccoli and zucchini lightly, or stir-fry or fry them. You can cook them any way you want - but remember that the longer they are cooked, the less nutrients and water content they will contain. In addition to steak and vegetables, you can also have a cold salad. After a meal like this, you shouldn’t be hungry anymore, right? Definitely a full meal.

Occasionally, some people question that some foods in nature contain both starch and protein. Since nature does this, we should be able to do it too. This argument is not valid. When we eat foods that contain protein and starch (such as beans) on their own, the body can self-regulate the digestive juices and secretion pace, and the digestion process can still maintain a certain degree of efficiency (Note: We say a certain degree of efficiency because beans are notoriously difficult to digest). However, if starch and protein foods are eaten separately in the same meal, the body cannot accurately adapt to the digestive juice requirements of foods of different natures. There is a significant and important difference between eating one food that contains both protein and starch and eating two foods that contain both protein and starch.

If you shouldn't pair protein with starch, can you pair protein with another protein, or starch with another starch? In fact, the ideal situation is to consume only one concentrated food at each meal, so the combination of two proteins or two starches should be ruled out. However, one situation is acceptable: starch with starch.

The reason why two proteins should not be combined is that the properties and complex components of different proteins are different, so the human body cannot meet the digestive conditions required by different proteins at the same time. This does not mean that you cannot eat two kinds of meat or two kinds of nuts at the same time, but you should not eat two different types of protein - meat, eggs, dairy products or nuts - at the same time.

Starches are not as difficult to break down as proteins, so you can eat more than one type of starch at the same time; for example, if you want to add some croutons to your salad and also want to have some baked potatoes on the side, it will still be digested smoothly without fermentation, so there is no problem. Of course! I still have to emphasize again and again that it is best to eat only one food at a time, so that the body will not have to work too hard and will not consume too much energy.
