Fat won't turn into muscle!

I would like to first share a very important concept, a concept so basic that coaches may feel that there is no need to explain it, which is: "Muscle is muscle, fat is fat, and they are completely different!" The reason I state such a basic concept is because I found that most people really don't know it!

I personally have hired many coaches and read many related books in the past few years, and only gradually realized that the two are different. I guess it may be because it is too basic, so the coaches think this is something that normal people should know, but I found that almost 90% of people don’t know: "Fat cannot be converted into muscle!" If you want to move towards the goal of "beautiful abdominal muscles, vest lines, firm breasts and buttocks, and tight, smooth and elastic skin", in addition to diet and quality sleep, you have to exercise in two parts: one, to make the muscles "strong"; two, to reduce the fat covering the muscles to make the muscles visible.

Effective ways to reduce fat include brisk exercise such as running, cycling, swimming, aerobics, etc. You can also choose to run slowly for a long time (at least one hour or more), or do short and fast interval running (all-out), which are all effective in eliminating fat.

Heavy training for strength and body shaping

How to make your muscles stronger? It mainly relies on "strength training", such as Zheng Duolian's strength exercises, or riding a bicycle up the mountain, but this can only allow us to maintain what can be said to be very light strength training. If you want to effectively get better muscle condition, firm, full, elastic, and powerful, and be able to show a younger body shape, it is recommended to add "weight training" that American stars and models do.

Weight training is actually an exercise that puts weight on the muscles. It can help the body's muscles return to their youthful volume and elasticity through the stimulation of training. So how do you do weight training? At this time, I earnestly suggest that you do not save the money for hiring a strength coach. Take a dozen or twenty private coaching lessons and practice the basic movements. You will really benefit from it for a lifetime! For me, it is almost impossible to practice by myself, because if one small detail is wrong, the practice may be completely wrong. In addition, the weight is very heavy during practice, so it is easy to get injured. It is best to have an expert to guide and assist.

Many girls (including me in the past) think that weight training or ironman training will turn them into strong women. In fact, it is very difficult to transform into a strong woman. In addition to having good genes that can easily build muscles, it also requires a lot of high-intensity training, plus a bunch of high-nutrition supplements! So don't worry girls!

Don't waste your muscles invisibly

Many people think that they can get a beautiful body by doing aerobic exercise all the time, but that’s not true at all! Our muscles will begin to atrophy at an alarming rate after the age of 30 (please allow me to use such a scary phrase). Almost all female students in the gym only participate in aerobic exercise, which is effective in reducing fat but has limited effect on muscle building.

If you keep doing a lot of aerobic exercise, such as running too much or riding a bike for too long, in addition to eliminating fat, you will also consume muscle at the same time (so you need to combine it with weight training). At this time, if the protein food needed by the muscles is not enough, the muscles will gradually atrophy over time, and the muscles will lose strength and the body will be easily injured.

In addition, because there is no fat and no muscles, you will look old and skinny, so it is urgent to do weight training to build muscle strength. It is very important and it lays the foundation for a good body! Once your body has strong and beautiful muscles, you will be less likely to get injured no matter whether you are exercising, playing ball, running, cycling, swimming... in your daily life, because you have strong muscles to protect you and you will be more flexible in your movements.
