Dysfunction often causes local obesity. Yoga coach Tang Youxin said that getting rid of waist and abdominal obesity is not difficult. As long as you do more waist and abdominal massages and limb twists, you can promote the normal functioning of internal organs, increase the metabolic rate, and achieve the effect of detoxification and body shaping.

The first method: abdominal breathing

How to enhance body metabolism through yoga? Teacher Tang Youxin said that the simplest way is "abdominal breathing". People can take deep breaths to slowly transport oxygen to the dantian in the abdomen, and through the ups and downs of the diaphragm (a type of skeletal muscle), they can rhythmically massage the internal organs, promote gastrointestinal motility and digestion, eliminate toxins and excess fat in the body, and achieve the effect of sculpting the waist and abdomen.

Unlike "chest breathing" which delivers oxygen to the chest cavity, abdominal breathing requires longer inhalation and oxygen can be delivered to various parts of the body more efficiently. Abdominal breathing can be done in any posture, but if it is combined with kneeling, it will stimulate the Stomach Meridian of Foot Yangming in the legs and improve the metabolic power of the digestive system.

People should sit on their knees and place their hands on their stomachs. When inhaling, relax their shoulders and lengthen their spine. Do not hold your breath or shrug your shoulders. Concentrate on guiding the air slowly to the bottom of the abdomen through your mind. You should feel your stomach bulging slightly and your diaphragm massaging your internal organs. You should feel the energy of your whole body spreading outwards when you inhale. Stay for a few seconds and then exhale slowly. When you exhale, take back your energy and your stomach will gradually shrink inward due to relaxation.

The second trick: Pinocchio stretching exercises

After learning abdominal breathing, female friends, especially those who lack exercise habits, can add stretching movements to balance the muscles on both sides of the spine, while enhancing metabolism and eliminating excess fat, thereby sculpting the waist and abdominal curves.

【Demonstration】

Stand with your feet apart, and raise your arms upward as you inhale, extending your spine. When exhaling, imagine yourself as a little puppet. Continue to extend your right hand upwards while slowly lowering your left hand. Slowly lean your head and torso to the left, allowing the right side of your body from your fingertips, back to your waist to be fully stretched, and you will feel stretched. Then bend your knees slightly, and slowly draw circles to the left with your right hand as your body moves. Finally, with the inhalation, return your hands to the raised position. When you exhale, switch sides. Practice each time, 4 times on each side.
