What are the early symptoms of left ovarian cyst pain?

What are the early symptoms of left ovarian cyst pain?

Ovarian cysts have no obvious clinical manifestations in the early stages, and patients often discover other diseases during gynecological examinations. In the future, as the tumor grows, the patient will experience symptoms and signs depending on the nature, size, development, secondary degeneration or complications of the tumor.

What are the symptoms of a left ovarian cyst?

Menstrual disorders

Ovarian cysts, even bilateral ovarian cysts, usually do not cause menstrual disorders because they do not destroy all normal ovarian tissue. Molecular uterine bleeding is not endocrine, or it may be caused by ovarian tumors changing the pelvic vascular distribution, resulting in endometrial congestion. Menstrual disorders caused by endocrine tumors are usually combined with other endocrine effects.

Compression symptoms

Compression symptoms are typical symptoms of ovarian cysts. Large ovarian tumors can cause dyspnea and palpitations due to compression of the diaphragm. Ovarian tumors combined with large amounts of ascites can also cause this symptom; however, dyspnea in some patients with ovarian tumors is caused by pleural effusion on one or both sides, usually combined with ascites. It often causes dysuria, urinary retention, and rapid or poor bowel movements.

Abdominal pain, leg pain

Malignant cysts often cause abdominal and leg pain, often requiring patients to seek emergency treatment.

Lower abdominal discomfort

Lower abdominal discomfort is the patient's initial feeling. Due to the weight of the tumor itself and the influence of intestinal peristalsis and posture changes, the pelvic movement of the tumor involves its pedicle and pelvic infundibulum ligament, resulting in swelling and descent of the lower abdomen or bone fossa.

Waistline thickening

People may feel that their clothes or belts are tight, notice an enlarged abdomen, and may experience swelling and bloating when they press on the abdomen.
