Does adenomyosis affect ovulation?

Nowadays, there are many factors that lead to female infertility, among which gynecological diseases are common, and adenomyosis is a gynecological disease. So, will adenomyosis affect ovulation?

Adenomyosis has a certain effect on ovulation. After being diagnosed with adenomyosis, medication should be used rationally under the guidance of a doctor. The current treatment method is mainly symptomatic treatment, that is, anti-inflammatory analgesics such as ibuprofen, indomethacin or naproxen can relieve symptoms of lower abdominal pain or dysmenorrhea. In recent years, clinicians have also used estriol as a conventional treatment drug, taken once on the first and third days of the menstrual cycle, 2 times .5 mg each time. After that, take it once every 3-4 days, a total of 2 times, the dosage is the same as before, and take it for 6 consecutive months as a course of treatment.

Daily precautions for patients with adenomyosis:

1. Pay attention to adjusting your emotions, maintain an open mind, and keep your immune system functioning normally.

2. Keep warm and prevent colds.

3. During the holidays, stop all strenuous exercise and heavy physical labor.

4. If endometriosis is found and the ovarian chocolate cyst is larger than 6cm, in the above cases, we must pay attention to maintaining emotional stability and avoid excessive fatigue. Once the tension in the cyst suddenly increases and the cyst wall ruptures, it will constitute an acute abdomen.

5. Try to avoid artificial abortions and curettage as much as possible, and practice family planning.

6. During the holidays, you should take good care of yourself, pay attention to controlling your emotions, and don’t hold grudges, otherwise it will cause endocrine changes.

7. Girls should avoid being frightened during puberty to prevent amenorrhea.

8. Women must abstain from sexual intercourse during holidays.
