TCM syndrome differentiation treatment of vulvar leukoplakia is effective

Xiao Mei is 36 years old. She has had repeated symptoms of vulvar itching in the past two years, especially at night, which has caused her to have trouble sleeping. She also feels that her vaginal secretions are not much, and she even feels a little dry and uncomfortable. The number of sexual intercourse has also decreased significantly compared to two years ago. She is often inexplicably irritable and anxious, and is prone to temper tantrums. She has lower limb weakness, fatigue, and sweating when she sleeps. Xiao Mei is still secretly wondering, could it be that menopause has come early? In recent days, various discomfort symptoms have become more and more obvious, so she went to the hospital for examination. Gynecological examination showed that her vulvar skin had turned white, the vaginal mucosa had atrophied, there was not much secretion, there was a small crack at the vaginal opening, the color was red, the cervix was smooth, and the uterus and appendages were normal.

The examination of leucorrhea showed that the cleanliness was Grade I, and no mold or vaginal trichomonas was found, and the diagnosis was vulvar leukoplakia. The TCM diagnosis was liver and kidney yin deficiency and yin blood deficiency. The treatment was mainly to nourish the liver and kidney and replenish the essence and blood. So she was prescribed a week of decoctions, combined with Chinese medicine fumigation and washing, and came back for a follow-up examination one week later. One week later, Xiao Mei's vulvar itching symptoms were significantly alleviated, and the vulvar ulcers gradually healed. After 3 courses of treatment, the itching symptoms disappeared, the dryness and discomfort symptoms were relieved, and the white lesions on the vulva had pigmented. After 5 courses of treatment, she was clinically cured.

Traditional Chinese medicine does not have the terms vulvar leukoplakia and vulvar malnutrition. According to the changes in the vulva and the symptoms of itching, it can be classified into the categories of vulvar itching and vulvar pain. Traditional Chinese medicine theory believes that the anterior vulva is connected to the liver, spleen, kidney and other internal organs through the meridians, meridian tendons and the Chong, Ren and Du meridians. According to its pathogenesis, it can be divided into liver and kidney yin deficiency, genital malnutrition, spleen and kidney yang deficiency, dampness and turbidity.
