How to identify bacterial vaginosis early

How to identify bacterial vaginosis early

Bacterial vaginitis is a common type of vaginitis in clinical practice. Early detection and early treatment are the key. So, how can women detect bacterial vaginitis early?

1. Abnormal leucorrhea

Abnormal vaginal discharge is a typical early symptom of bacterial vaginitis. The abnormal manifestations include increased vaginal discharge, which is yellow water-like, pus-like, white curd-like or tofu-like, with a slight odor, and even blood in severe cases. Therefore, if women find that their vaginal discharge has the above abnormalities, they should go to the hospital in time to check for the possibility of bacterial vaginitis and actively cooperate with clinical treatment.

2. Vulvar and vaginal irritation

Another way to detect bacterial vaginitis early is to feel the irritation symptoms of the vulva and vagina. If a woman feels severe itching in her private parts recently, she often scratches unconsciously, and it often spreads from the inside of the labia minora to the vulva, seriously affecting her sleep and work. The symptoms are generally from mild to severe. She should go to the hospital for treatment immediately. This is likely to be an early sign of bacterial vaginitis. In addition, this local irritation symptom is often accompanied by a burning sensation, and some patients will also experience local pain and pain during sexual intercourse. It should be noted that patients with this type of disease should not scratch the vulva vigorously to avoid causing local ulcers and aggravating the condition, and should not use topical or oral medications to relieve itching without authorization.
