How to diagnose adenomyosis? What are the dangers of adenomyosis?

Clinically, the following methods are usually used for examination:

1. Medical history: In clinical practice, dysmenorrhea is usually secondary, and spotting will worsen, or it may be accompanied by a significant increase in menstrual volume, prolonged menstruation, dystocia, infertility and habitual abortion.

2. Gynecological examination: The uterus is significantly more spherical and tender.

3. Ultrasound examination: to understand whether the uterus is enlarged and whether the myometrium is thickened, especially the posterior wall. Compared with the normal myometrium, the lesion is generally iso-echoic or slightly more echogenic.

4. Laparoscopy: can clearly see the vascular hyperplasia and white wrinkled protrusions in the lesion area.

Clinical data show that adenomyosis is an important cause of female infertility. Only by identifying the cause and conducting confirmatory examinations can the disease be cured.

The incidence of infertility caused by adenomyosis is high and it is also one of the important causes of infertility. About 30-50% of patients with adenomyosis suffer from infertility. We must be highly vigilant about adenomyosis.

Uterine adenomyosis causes infertility. Patients with adenomyosis have thickened uterus and are prone to pelvic adhesions. The inner wall of the uterus is not smooth and rough, which is not conducive to ovulation and embryo implantation, leading to female infertility.

Miscarriage may also occur. Clinical data show that even if a woman with adenomyosis has a normal pregnancy, the risk of spontaneous abortion during pregnancy is much higher than that of normal people, especially for women with diffuse adenomyosis.
