What tests are needed for the symptoms of pelvic inflammatory disease

A group of infectious diseases of the female upper reproductive tract is called pelvic inflammatory disease, which often occurs in some middle-aged women. So, what tests are needed for the symptoms of pelvic inflammatory disease, and what are the symptoms for diagnosis?

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) refers to inflammation of the female pelvic reproductive organs, connective tissue around the uterus, and pelvic peritoneum. Chronic PID is often caused by incomplete treatment of the acute phase. It takes a long time to develop and is more stubborn. Bacteria retrogradely infect the uterus and fallopian tubes and reach the pelvic cavity. But in real life, not all women will suffer from PID, only a few will.

The symptoms of pelvic inflammatory disease are still very obvious and can be diagnosed through laparoscopy. If it is not diffuse peritonitis and the patient is in general good condition, laparoscopy can be performed on patients with pelvic inflammatory disease, suspected pelvic inflammatory disease, and other acute abdominal diseases. Laparoscopy can not only make a clear diagnosis and differential diagnosis, but also make a preliminary judgment on the degree of pelvic inflammatory disease.

Symptoms detected are generally obvious, while systemic symptoms are mostly not obvious, including low fever, fatigue, lower abdominal pain, etc. During the examination, it is found that the uterus is often posterior, with limited movement, or adhesion and fixation.

In addition, pelvic inflammatory disease has an acute onset and severe condition, and may cause lower abdominal pain, fever, chills, headache, and loss of appetite. During the examination, the patient was found to be acutely ill, with high body temperature, fast heart rate, muscle tension, tenderness, and rebound pain in the lower abdomen.
