What is the cause of vulvar itching and small bumps?

When exogenous itching is accompanied by local skin lesions, the following reasons may be considered.

The first is gynecological inflammation: When this situation is discovered, the first thing to do is to determine whether you have gynecological inflammation, for example: candidal vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis, vulvitis, etc. may all have this symptom.

The second is genital warts: This disease is mainly caused by unclean sexual life and is a sexually transmitted disease. If women accidentally get genital warts, they will experience itching in the vaginal opening, anus and other parts, and small bumps will appear, some of which are shaped like papules and some are shaped like cauliflower. Therefore, when women find bumps on the vulva, they should pay attention to it and get timely diagnosis and treatment.

There is also female pseudocondyloma: a benign papilloma, which is caused by general vaginal inflammation and excessive leucorrhea. It is called pseudocondyloma. The rash is characterized by symmetrical fish egg-like or filamentous hyperplasia on the inner side of the labia minora, evenly distributed, with no subjective symptoms or slight itching. It is not contagious and does not require treatment.

In terms of treatment, first treat the cause. Antipruritic drugs can be used locally. Change underwear every day, and it is best to wear loose cotton pants to keep the vagina breathable and dry. When washing underwear, try to use laundry detergent or soap specially designed for washing underwear. After washing, dry it in a sunny and ventilated place. Maintain your diet and try to eat less spicy and irritating foods. Do not drink alcohol or smoke.
