The main symptoms of tumorous ovarian cysts

The main symptoms of tumorous ovarian cysts

Tumorous ovarian cysts are one of the more common types of ovarian epithelial tumors, and the main symptoms are the following 4.

1. Abdominal pain

If patients with tumorous ovarian cysts experience abdominal pain, it is usually due to torsion of the tumor pedicle. In some cases, it is due to tumor rupture, bleeding or infection. If the ovarian cyst is malignant, it can also cause abdominal pain and leg pain. Do not endure it and seek medical treatment in time.

2. Abdominal pressure

Patients with tumorous ovarian cysts often experience a foreign body pressure in the abdomen, and even symptoms such as dyspnea, palpitations, and shortness of breath. This is mainly due to the large size of the tumor or a large amount of ascites. In addition, if the patient has obvious dyspnea, the possibility of pleural effusion should also be considered.

3. Increased abdominal circumference

An increase in abdominal circumference is a typical symptom of tumorous ovarian cysts. Patients will notice that their tops and belts are getting tighter, especially in the morning. If you press the abdomen, you will generally feel a foreign body. Most patients will experience abdominal distension and discomfort.

4. Lower abdominal distension

If a tumorous ovarian cyst metastasizes in the pelvic cavity, it is likely to involve the ligaments of the pelvic funnel, i.e. the pedicle. The patient's obvious symptom is a feeling of fullness or heaviness in the lower abdomen.

TIPS: Tumorous ovarian cysts are divided into two types: benign and malignant. Benign cysts mostly occur in women aged 30-40, while malignant tumors mostly occur in women over 40 years old.
