Will the right ovarian cyst disappear? What are the symptoms?

1. Follicular cysts and corpus luteum cysts appear in different stages of the menstrual cycle of normal women of childbearing age. They are physiological retention cysts, usually single, but may also be multiple. Follicular cysts and corpus luteum cysts are generally 1 to 3 cm in diameter, occasionally up to 5 to 6 cm. Most people have no obvious symptoms and are only discovered during gynecological examinations. Occasionally, the cysts rupture and cause bleeding and pain.

2. Most right ovarian cysts can disappear on their own within two months without special treatment. Corpus luteum cysts are associated with the continued presence of the corpus luteum after ovulation and are related to bleeding and plasma exudation. The corpus luteum can also enlarge and become a corpus luteum cyst during pregnancy. Corpus luteum cysts in non-pregnant women generally disappear within two months, and corpus luteum cysts in pregnancy generally disappear naturally after 3 months of pregnancy.

3. The main symptoms of right ovarian cyst are lower abdominal pain, lower abdominal discomfort, increased vaginal discharge, yellow vaginal discharge, abnormal vaginal odor, menstrual irregularities, and usually a firm and painless swelling in the lower abdomen, and sometimes pain during sexual intercourse.

4. When the cyst affects hormone production, symptoms such as irregular vaginal bleeding or increased hair growth may occur. If the cyst is twisted, there will be severe abdominal pain, dyspnea, loss of appetite, nausea and fever.
