What is the extent of pelvic effusion?

Doctors point out that under normal circumstances, if women find that the pelvic fluid is less than 10 mm after examination, it means that the current pelvic fluid is a normal physiological condition. This situation is mainly caused by women's own physiological characteristics. Usually, the amount of pelvic fluid in the body will be relatively low at the beginning of menstruation and just after menstruation.

1. Discomfort in the lower abdomen

This is the initial symptom before the patient touches the lower abdominal mass. Due to the weight of the tumor itself and the influence of intestinal peristalsis and position changes, the movement of the tumor in the pelvic cavity involves its pedicle and pelvic funnel ligament, causing the patient to feel fullness and drop in the lower abdomen or head fossa.

2. Increased abdominal circumference and intra-abdominal tumor

Patients realize that their clothes or belts look tight, simply notice an enlarged abdomen, or occasionally feel a bloated feeling in the morning, combined with bloating discomfort. These are the most common symptoms.

3. Menstrual disorders

Generally speaking, ovarian or even bilateral ovarian cysts do not cause menstrual disorders because they do not destroy all normal ovarian tissue. Some uterine bleeding is not endocrine or is caused by ovarian tumors changing the pelvic vascular distribution and causing endometrial congestion; or due to ovarian malignant tumors directly metastasizing to the endometrium. Menstrual disorders caused by endocrine tumors are often combined with other secretory effects.
