Will pelvic effusion make the belly bigger? What are the symptoms?

If pelvic effusion is not treated properly, it can be very harmful and will also manifest itself through physical signs. So, will pelvic effusion make the belly bloated? What are the symptoms?

Pelvic effusion can be divided into physiological pelvic effusion and pathological pelvic effusion according to pathological factors. Physiological pelvic effusion often occurs after women ovulate or in early pregnancy, and most of them can disappear naturally without treatment. In clinical practice, most women's pelvic effusion is caused by inflammation, which is the presence of inflammatory exudate in the pelvis. If it is not treated, it can slowly grow. If it is too large, it is not easy to eliminate it with drugs, and surgical treatment is required.

Pelvic effusion generally does not cause the abdomen to become enlarged. First, let's understand the symptoms of pelvic effusion.

1. It is often accompanied by lower abdominal pain, lumbosacral pain, low back pain, lower abdominal distension and pain, or aggravated by standing for a long time, overwork, sexual intercourse, or before menstruation. In severe cases, it affects work.

2. Or there may be increased leucorrhea, menstrual disorders, heavy menstrual blood flow, dysmenorrhea, and sexual discomfort.

3. The uterus is often tilted retroverted, with limited mobility or adhesion and fixation; or the fallopian tube is thickened and tender; or a cystic mass is felt; or there is a patchy thickening and tenderness next to the uterus.

4. Pelvic effusion will cause a feeling of falling, and the typical cause of abdominal bloating is intestinal gas accumulation. There is no direct connection between them.
