What are the methods for diagnosing ectopic pregnancy?

Ectopic pregnancy is an ectopic pregnancy. The diagnostic methods for ectopic pregnancy generally include physical examination, HCG measurement, B-ultrasound examination, etc.

1. Physical examination: including measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, body temperature, respiration, and pulse. Heavy bleeding may manifest as a drop in blood pressure and a weak pulse.

2. HCG measurement: During the HCG measurement process, the HCG level of patients with ectopic pregnancy is generally lower than that of intrauterine pregnancy.

3. B-ultrasound examination: including vaginal B-ultrasound and abdominal B-ultrasound. B-ultrasound examination helps to understand the specific location of the fertilized egg implantation.

In addition to the above diagnostic methods, diagnosis can also be made through gynecological examination. Gynecological examination generally shows a small amount of intrauterine blood in the vagina, the cervix causes pain, the posterior fornix is full and tender, the uterus is slightly larger, and irregular masses can be touched beside the uterus, accompanied by obvious tenderness. Ectopic pregnancy should be treated promptly after the above diagnosis. If the situation is good, there is no active abdominal bleeding, the pelvic mass is small, and the embryo has no heartbeat, methotrexate tablets, mifepristone tablets, misoprostol tablets and other drugs can be used under the guidance of a doctor to terminate the pregnancy. If there is active abdominal bleeding and the embryo is large, surgical treatment is required, generally including salpingostomy, salpingectomy, etc.
