What are the symptoms and phenomena of cervical erosion

Cervical erosion is usually a common physiological phenomenon, and patients generally have no special symptoms. However, when infected or otherwise stimulated, symptoms such as increased vaginal discharge, abnormal vaginal discharge, contact bleeding, and lower abdominal pain may occur.

1. No special symptoms: Cervical erosion is a type of cervical columnar epithelium ectopia, which is a physiological phenomenon. Patients generally have no obvious clinical symptoms and will only be discovered during physical examinations.

2. Increased vaginal discharge: When the patient's cervical opening is infected or irritated, symptoms of cervicitis will appear, manifested as increased vaginal discharge, which may stimulate vulvar discomfort or itching.

3. Abnormal leucorrhea: The properties of leucorrhea may also change, usually becoming sticky or purulent, and sometimes containing blood or a small amount of blood.

4. Contact bleeding: Women mainly experience a small amount of vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse or gynecological examination.

5. Lower abdominal pain: mainly manifested as repeated lower abdominal pain or pain in the lower back.

If the patient has the above discomfort, he/she needs to go to the hospital as soon as possible for diagnosis and treatment by a professional doctor. Pay more attention to personal hygiene in daily life, take a bath frequently, change clothes frequently. Eat a light diet and avoid spicy food.
