Abnormal leucorrhea, what's wrong?

What’s wrong with abnormal leucorrhea?

The causes of abnormal leucorrhea can be divided into physiological leucorrhea and pathological leucorrhea. If the physiological leucorrhea increases, don't worry. With the fluctuation of estrogen secretion in the body, the leucorrhea will disappear on its own after a period of time. If the leucorrhea is abnormal due to pathological leucorrhea, you should go to the hospital as soon as possible according to other physical symptoms.

1. Increased physiological leucorrhea

After a woman enters ovulation or pregnancy, the secretion of estrogen in the body increases, which will lead to an increase in leucorrhea. In this case, the leucorrhea will only increase, and there will be no change in the nature or color of the leucorrhea. As the estrogen secretion area stabilizes, the increase in leucorrhea will improve on its own.

2. Pathological leucorrhea

During the period of increased vaginal discharge in women, the color and nature of the vaginal discharge will also change, which may be caused by reproductive system infection of bacteria, viruses or microorganisms. If there are more Candida albicans in the vagina, it will not only cause increased vaginal discharge, but also make the vaginal discharge look like tofu dregs. If there are vaginal Trichomonas in the vagina, it will cause increased vaginal discharge, fishy smell and yellow color of vaginal discharge. When the abnormal increase of vaginal discharge is accompanied by physical discomfort, you should go to the hospital for special examination as soon as possible.
