What causes adenomyosis?

Adenomyosis may be caused by genetic factors, transuterine operation, endometritis, damage to the basal layer of the endometrium, lack of submucosal layer in the basal layer of the endometrium, etc., and requires cooperation with the doctor's treatment.

1. Genetic factors: Those with a family history of adenomyosis have an increased risk of developing the disease in their offspring. For patients with mild symptoms, hot compresses, physical therapy and other relief methods can be used, and attention should be paid to personal hygiene and nutritional supplements.

2. Transuterine operation: Operations such as cesarean section and artificial abortion may cause the endometrium to invade the myometrium, thereby inducing adenomyosis. Under the guidance of a doctor, use drugs such as dydrogesterone tablets and gestrinone tablets for treatment.

3. Endometritis: Especially chronic endometritis. If the acute inflammation is not treated in time, it may develop into chronic inflammation and then cause adenomyosis. Use cefixime capsules, amoxicillin capsules and other drugs for treatment under the guidance of a doctor.

4. Damage to the basal layer of the endometrium: If the basal layer is damaged due to multiple intrauterine operations, it may induce adenomyosis. You can use Xiaoyao Pills, Bazhen Decoction and other drugs to regulate it under the guidance of a doctor.

5. The basal layer of the endometrium lacks the submucosal layer: This situation may also lead to the occurrence of adenomyosis. Patients with severe symptoms and ineffective drug treatment may consider surgical treatment, such as lesion resection, endometrial ablation, uterine artery embolization or total hysterectomy.

During the treatment, patients need to pay more attention to rest and avoid excessive fatigue so as not to affect recovery.
