Ovarian cancer has now become one of the biggest killers of women's lives and health. Cancer should be detected and treated early. If menopause is late, you should be aware of the risk of ovarian cancer and it is important to have regular health checks. Experts say that there are many types of ovarian cancer. Epithelial tumors are more common in women aged 50 to 60, while germ cell tumors are more common in young women under 30. The prognosis of malignant tumors is related to the stage, pathological type and grade, and age. The most important factors are the stage of the tumor and the number of residual tumors. The earlier the stage, the better the prognosis, and the fewer residual tumors, the better the prognosis. Therefore, early detection of ovarian cancer is of great significance for prognosis. Recently, we have admitted many patients with advanced ovarian malignant tumors. Most of them are postmenopausal women, ranging in age from 50 to 80 years old. Their common symptoms are abdominal distension, abdominal mass and gastrointestinal symptoms. Due to the infiltration and compression of the tumor to the surrounding tissues, it can also cause lower limb edema, lower limb pain, frequent urination, constipation, shortness of breath, palpitations and other symptoms. Some people also show cachexia symptoms such as rapid weight loss and anemia in a short period of time. It is a pity that many people did not pay attention to it in the early stage and it was already in the late stage when they sought treatment. Delayed menopause or ovarian cancer symptoms Is it a good thing or a bad thing that you have reached the menopause age but have not yet reached menopause? Experts remind female friends that women who reach menopause late should be alert to the invasion of ovarian tumors, so if the menopause time is too late, you should first screen for ovarian tumors. The average menopause age of Chinese women is about 49.5 years old. Some experts say that women should not exceed 53 years old when they reach menopause, otherwise they should be alert to the possibility of ovarian tumors. The ovarian tumors that cause delayed menopause are mainly ovarian granulosa cell tumors and theca cell tumors. The former is a low-grade malignant tumor, and the latter is a benign ovarian tumor. Sometimes these two tumors can coexist. Most patients with this type of ovarian tumor have no other symptoms except menstrual disorders and delayed menopause. Therefore, late menopause has become an important information for ovarian granulosa cell tumor and theca cell tumor. Menopausal women over the age of 53 who have not yet reached menopause should be vigilant and not neglect ovarian tumors. Female friends should always pay attention to their own health, especially postmenopausal women. They should not simply think that they have lost some female functions after menopause and do not need to pay attention to their reproductive health. Women over 30 years old should have gynecological examinations and B-ultrasound examinations every year, and if necessary, serum CA125, AFp and other tumor markers should be measured. For high-risk groups with breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, or a family history of ovarian cancer, they should be closely followed up, preferably every six months. In addition, a high-protein diet rich in vitamin A, avoiding a high-cholesterol diet, not smoking, not drinking, and strengthening physical exercise to enhance one's physical fitness are all helpful in preventing tumors. |
