Can pregnant women with cervical erosion give birth naturally? Pregnant women with cervical erosion must know these issues

Cervical erosion, a common gynecological disease in women, can easily occur at different ages and periods. If a pregnant woman suffers from cervical erosion, will it affect the smooth delivery of the baby? Many pregnant mothers hope to have a natural birth instead of a caesarean section, which will not cause any harm to the baby's body or intelligence. But on the other hand, from a safety perspective, pregnant women with cervical erosion are worried that the child will be infected with bacteria, which will affect the child's growth and development. So, for pregnant women and expectant mothers, can they have a natural birth if they suffer from cervical erosion?

In fact, cervical erosion has no direct relationship with whether a normal birth can be achieved, because normal birth is mainly determined by factors such as labor force, fetal size, birth canal, and the psychological quality and physical condition of the mother. Cervical erosion is a phenomenon that can be caused by a variety of causes, such as cervicitis, cervical lacerations, viral infections in the cervix, etc., which can all manifest as erosion symptoms, but do not hinder the passage of the fetus.

Cervical erosion can be classified into mild, moderate and severe. Generally, mild cervical erosion will not affect normal delivery. Cervical erosion is just the shedding of squamous epithelium on the surface of the cervix, which does not affect the connective tissue under the cervix, so it will not affect the softening and expansion of the cervix. Moderate cervical erosion is a slightly more serious condition, with a wider degree and range of erosion, and the secretions produced may cause bacterial infection during the fetal delivery process, making normal delivery difficult. At this time, cervical erosion should be controlled first, and then normal delivery should be attempted.

Pregnant women with cervical erosion also have some precautions for a normal delivery during pregnancy, such as controlling weight during pregnancy. Don't think that the more supplements you eat, the better. Because if the baby is too heavy due to eating too much, this will increase the chance of dystocia, because the fetus's head is too large to pass through the pelvis during delivery. Therefore, you should not blindly take supplements during pregnancy and eat properly.

A major factor affecting whether a normal birth can be achieved is whether the fetal position is correct, so pregnant women must insist on regular prenatal check-ups and closely check whether there is any abnormal fetal position. If so, don't be too nervous and you can consult a doctor for specific methods to adjust the fetal position.
