What are the symptoms of uterine leiomyoma and the treatment of uterine leiomyoma

When it comes to the symptoms of uterine fibroids, many friends may have a lot to say. The symptoms of uterine fibroids are more complicated. We all know that the clinical manifestations of fibroids are related to the growth site, size and growth rate of the fibroids. Today we will also introduce the clinical symptoms of uterine fibroids. I hope you will see some gains.

1. Menstruation becomes the most common symptom, and it is also the main symptom of submucosal fibroids, which manifests as menorrhagia, prolonged menstruation, and shortened cycles. This is mainly due to the fact that submucosal fibroids and fibroids increase the volume of the uterus and the area of the endometrium, while obstructing the blood flow of the uterine veins and interfering with the contraction of the uterine wall. Submucosal fibroids are prone to necrosis, infection, bleeding, and prolonged bleeding, sometimes manifesting as continuous irregular bleeding or menstrual bleeding. In patients with menorrhagia, prostaglandin levels are higher. Current reports have found that fibroids respond to increased prostaglandins, which may be caused by menstrual disorders caused by uterine fibroids.

2. Abdominal pain. Fibroids themselves generally do not cause abdominal pain. Torsion of the pedicle of subserosal fibroids can cause acute abdominal pain; delivery of large submucosal fibroids can cause lower abdominal pain; pelvic compression of fibroids can cause lower abdominal pain; and degeneration of fibroids can cause severe abdominal pain.

3. Compression symptoms: Myomas located on the anterior wall of the uterus or the anterior lip of the cervix may cause frequent urination, urgency, difficulty urinating, urgency, and difficulty urinating, leading to urinary retention. Myomas located on the posterior wall or the posterior lip of the cervix may compress the rectum and cause difficulty in defecation, constipation, etc. Broad ligament myomas may compress the ureters and cause hydronephrosis, and compress the pelvic veins and cause lower limb edema.

4. Infertility Submucosal fibroids act as foreign bodies and affect the implantation of the fertilized egg; fibroids themselves change the uterine morphology and also affect the implantation of the fertilized egg; fibroids compress the fallopian tubes and affect the intake of the egg cells, thus affecting pregnancy. However, the connection between fibroids and infertility is mostly accidental.

5. Increased vaginal discharge. Submucosal fibroid infection often increases vaginal discharge, and patients are sometimes treated with bloody leucorrhea. Due to the increase in uterine area, increased glandular secretion leads to increased vaginal discharge.

6. Because fibroids cause excessive menstruation, anemia often occurs, manifested as general fatigue, dizziness, palpitations, etc.

7. The abdomen manifests as large intramural or subserosal fibroids on the anterior wall. Patients often have conscious abdominal distension and sometimes an abdominal mass can be felt.

8. Gynecological examination of submucosal fibroids During delivery, there are red, rich, proud organisms on the cervix, and the uterus may be of normal size or evenly enlarged; intramural fibroids or subserosal fibroids may touch irregular nodular protrusions on the surface of the uterus; the texture of pedunculated subserosal fibroids in the pelvic cavity is closely related to the uterus; cervical fibroids may show one lip is thick and the other lip is flat or even disappearing.

Like the symptoms of most diseases, the symptoms of uterine fibroids are also complex, including the above eight points. Patients with uterine fibroids should face these eight important points. Here, we hope that patients with uterine fibroids can recover as soon as possible.
