How is minimally invasive surgery for uterine fibroids performed? How to maintain after minimally invasive surgery for uterine fibroids

Uterine fibroids are the most common benign tumors in women, with a higher incidence rate than middle-aged women aged 30-50. For patients after uterine fibroid surgery, a proper diet can not only make the body of uterine fibroid patients recover faster, but also eliminate the possibility of uterine fibroids recurring next time. So, how to maintain uterine fibroids after minimally invasive surgery?

After surgery, uterine fibroids require the following four aspects of postoperative care:

1. Wound care: The wound is usually 1 cm long at the navel. After it has completely healed in about ten days, you must keep it clean and dry before taking a shower or getting wet.

2. Vaginal bleeding: During surgery, in order to allow for a clear examination of the ovaries, fallopian tubes and the back of the uterus or to provide sufficient space for surgery, a uterine support device is usually placed in the vagina (not used for unmarried women). Therefore, there will be a small amount of vaginal bleeding after the operation, which is normal. If vaginal bleeding lasts for more than two weeks, you should consult a doctor to see if there is any abnormality.

3. Daily life: Resume normal work and rest in the second week after surgery. 8 weeks after uterine fibroid surgery, gradually increase the amount of exercise according to personal physical strength and physique to reduce the discomfort caused by temporary reduction of pelvic support.

4. Nutritional intake: In principle, nutritional intake after surgery is the same. During surgery, you should drink plenty of water to replenish the loss of body fluids. High-protein foods should be consumed to accelerate wound healing, and irritating foods and gas-producing foods should be avoided.
