Is it an ectopic pregnancy if the test paper shows one dark and one light? It could be pregnancy

I believe that those who have used pregnancy test strips know how to operate and how to read the results. If you are pregnant, there will be two clear red bars. If there is only one red bar, it means you are not pregnant. One deep and one shallow red bar may be early pregnancy, or it may be a false positive. Ectopic pregnancy is very harmful to pregnant women and needs to be diagnosed and treated in time. So, does one deep and one shallow red bar on the test strip mean ectopic pregnancy?

One dark and one shallow test strip does not necessarily mean an ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy cannot be detected with a test strip. There are many ways to check for ectopic pregnancy clinically, among which B-ultrasound is the most accurate and reliable method to confirm ectopic pregnancy. B-ultrasound can clearly see the position, size, and shape of the gestational sac, and can also check the embryo and fetal heart rate. It can determine whether it is a single pregnancy or a multiple pregnancy, understand whether it is a normal intrauterine pregnancy, and rule out the possibility of abnormal pregnancy.
Signs of ectopic pregnancy
1. Gross examination: When there is a lot of intra-abdominal bleeding, the patient will appear anemic. When a large amount of intra-abdominal bleeding causes hemorrhagic shock, the patient will be pale, with cold and wet limbs, a fast, thin and weak pulse, and a drop in blood pressure. The body temperature is generally normal or slightly low, and the body temperature may rise slightly when the intra-abdominal blood is absorbed.
2. Abdominal examination: There is obvious tenderness and rebound pain in the lower abdomen, especially on the affected side, but the abdominal muscles are less tense. When there is a lot of internal bleeding, there may be shifting dullness. A few patients may feel a mass in the lower abdomen.
3. Pelvic examination: There may be a small amount of dark red blood in the vagina, the posterior fornix may be full and tender, the cervix may be painful when lifting or swinging, the uterus may be equivalent to the menopausal month or slightly larger and softer, and a mass with slight tenderness may be felt next to the uterus. When there is a lot of internal bleeding, the uterus may feel floating.
For patients with ectopic pregnancy and severe hemorrhage and shock, first open the vein, inhale oxygen, and transfuse blood and fluids to fight shock, while actively preparing for surgery. Pay attention to monitoring vital signs after surgery, and if conditions permit, provide ECG monitoring and continue oxygen inhalation to help the patient recover as soon as possible.
