Why do women experience threatened miscarriage?

For women, ten months of pregnancy is very hard, but it is worth it for the sake of the lovely baby. However, some pregnant women unfortunately experience threatened miscarriage. Threatened miscarriage will not only cause great harm to the pregnant woman's body, but also have irreversible effects on women's psychology and spirit. So why do pregnant women experience threatened miscarriage? In fact, this cause is caused by many factors. Now let's analyze the various reasons.

1. Weakness of Qi and blood:

Generally, it is a sign of poor health and weak Qi and blood in women. The fetus needs sufficient Qi and blood from the mother. If Qi and blood are insufficient and the liver and kidneys are deficient, there will be this sign of miscarriage. Pregnant women need to pay attention to replenishing Qi and blood, nourishing the liver and kidneys, and protecting the fetus.

2. Uterine malformation:

If the expectant mother has uterine malformation, it will affect the implantation and development of the embryo and lead to miscarriage. In addition, relaxation of the internal os of the uterus or deep laceration of the cervix will cause premature rupture of the membranes and late miscarriage.

3. Endocrine abnormalities:

Endocrine abnormalities can seriously affect the placenta. The fetus mainly absorbs nutrients from the mother through the placenta. If the placenta is poorly developed or diseased, the fetus will stop growing due to lack of nutrients and cause miscarriage.

4. History of induced abortion or miscarriage:

The incidence of miscarriage will increase 10 times if the expectant mother has a history of induced abortion. The more times abortion is induced, the greater the possibility of miscarriage in the future. Doctors usually recommend waiting at least one and a half years after an abortion before preparing for pregnancy, and at least one year after a medical abortion before getting pregnant.

5. Father factor:

Fertilized egg abnormalities are the main cause of early miscarriage. A large proportion of miscarriages in the first two months of pregnancy are due to defects in sperm and eggs, which result in the termination of embryonic development to a certain extent. Sperm abnormalities are, to some extent, abnormal genetic material in sperm. For example, large-headed sperm are mostly diploid sperm. When diploid sperm conceives, the embryo is polyploid, thus causing miscarriage.

6. Accidental Injury:

During pregnancy, especially in the early stages of pregnancy, if the expectant mother is hit, squeezed, falls, participates in heavy physical labor, does intense sports, undergoes abdominal surgery or has appendicitis, it can also cause uterine contractions and lead to miscarriage. Excessive tension, anxiety, fear, sadness and other mental trauma can also cause uterine contractions and lead to miscarriage.

7. Bad habits:

If an expectant mother is an alcoholic, ethanol will directly harm the fetus and interfere with the blood circulation of the placenta and fetus, leading to fetal death and miscarriage. Heavy smoking will reduce placental blood flow and cause complex changes in hormone levels in the body. Both can lead to intrauterine growth retardation or miscarriage of the fetus.
