Can cervicitis be cured?

Can cervicitis be cured? When faced with the onset of the disease, most of us cannot treat it calmly. Although cervicitis is a common gynecological disease, it still makes many female patients feel great pressure, especially since the disease is prone to recurrence and migration, which makes people extremely distressed and depressed. So, can cervicitis be cured?

Cervicitis is prone to recurrence after treatment, especially for patients with chronic cervicitis, which often does not heal and causes great headaches for everyone. Although the disease is difficult to cure, it can be cured as long as active symptomatic treatment is carried out, especially for acute cervicitis, the clinical cure rate is very high.

The treatment of cervicitis is mainly antibiotics. Acute cervicitis can usually be cured with medication for seven days, while chronic cervicitis requires physical therapy such as freezing and laser. If you have abnormal vaginal discharge or lumbar pain, you should seek medical attention in time to avoid acute becoming chronic. After excluding malignant lesions and controlling specific or non-specific infections, chronic cervicitis is mainly treated locally to make the eroded columnar epithelium necrotize and fall off, and then covered by new squamous epithelium.

Patients should develop good living habits, pay attention to rest, and avoid overwork. Keep the vulva clean, change underwear frequently, and choose soft, pure cotton or silk underwear. Chronic cervicitis has a long course, and patients often lack self-confidence. Patients should be patiently explained to the patient, so that the patient can build confidence and actively cooperate with the treatment. Women of childbearing age should have regular physical examinations, routine cervical smear cytology examinations, and actively treat chronic cervicitis.

For patients with chronic cervicitis who receive physical therapy, they should wash their vulva twice a day after surgery, pay attention to daily hygiene, and refrain from sexual intercourse and bathing for 2 to 3 months. Before the scab falls off, when a large amount of yellow fluid flows out of the vagina, the patient should change underwear frequently. Keep the perineum clean and follow up for any abnormalities.

After suffering from cervicitis, you must supplement vitamins and eat more fruits and vegetables to help restore your health. During the treatment period, you should not be overworked and should pay more attention to rest. If you feel unwell, you should go to the hospital for examination in time. Do not eat spicy, stimulating, fried and other foods. These foods that are easy to get angry are strictly prohibited, otherwise it will aggravate the condition.
