How to prevent infection of endometrial tuberculosis

Endometrial tuberculosis is a common gynecological tuberculosis in women. The so-called endometrial tuberculosis is tuberculosis of the female endometrium, and its pathogenic factors are very common. Many female friends will ask, is endometrial tuberculosis contagious? Let's analyze it in detail:

Endometrial tuberculosis is tuberculosis of the endometrium. According to the length of the course of the disease, it can be divided into acute endometrial tuberculosis and chronic endometrial tuberculosis. After the occurrence of endometrial tuberculosis, the entire uterine cavity often swells and exudates. The acute phase can also cause systemic symptoms, such as fever, chills, leukocytosis, lower abdominal pain, increased leucorrhea, sometimes bloody or foul-smelling, and sometimes a slightly enlarged uterus and tenderness. The symptoms of chronic cases are basically the same, and there may also be menorrhagia, lower abdominal pain, and obvious swelling in the lumbar sacral area.

1. Most of them are related to pregnancy, such as puerperal infection or infected abortion. Endometrial tuberculosis often occurs, and it is the most serious type of endometrial tuberculosis.

2. Intrauterine lesions such as endometrial polyps, submucosal uterine fibroids, endometrial cancer, etc. may also cause endometrial tuberculosis.

3. Placement of IUD, curettage, electrocautery of the cervix, placement of radium needle, etc. in the uterus.

Is endometrial tuberculosis contagious? When the fine fibers of the uterine wall break away from the uterine wall and gather outside the uterus, it will cause endometrial tuberculosis. The infection can be caused by sexually transmitted diseases, but sometimes there is no obvious cause. After the disease, young couples are usually confused because they are afraid that it will spread and make the man sick. In fact, don't worry, under normal circumstances, the disease is not contagious.

To sum up, endometrial tuberculosis will not be transmitted directly through sexual intercourse or indirect contact, but women should still pay attention to absolutely avoiding sexual intercourse during the infection verification period. They should also pay attention to personal hygiene, avoid going to public bathrooms and swimming pools, and avoid infection with other bacteria.
