Does endometrial tuberculosis have symptoms of excessive leucorrhea?

Endometrial tuberculosis is a disease with a wide distribution of lesions, including the uterosacral ligament, rectouterine pouch, ovaries, pelvic cavity and other organs. If you get it, it will have a great impact on women. The following mainly introduces the characteristics of endometrial tuberculosis to the majority of female friends.

Dysmenorrhea, the pain is mostly located in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral region, and can radiate to the vagina, perineum, anus or thighs, and is accompanied by pain during sexual intercourse. Progressive dysmenorrhea is the characteristic of this disease.

Irregular menstruation, manifested by increased menstrual flow or prolonged menstruation, dark purple menstrual blood with clots, poor drainage, and a few premenstrual spotting

The pathological changes are that the ectopic endometrium is controlled by ovarian hormones like the situ endometrium, and periodic bleeding occurs. Blood, secretions, and tissue fragments accumulate in the interstitial space, and plasma and hemoglobin are slowly absorbed. A similar infection-like inflammatory reaction occurs around the lesion, and fibrous tissue proliferates, adheres, wrinkles, and forms scars. Purple-brown spots or vesicles appear at the lesion, and finally purple-blue nodules or masses of varying sizes are formed. The lesions vary depending on the location and degree of occurrence.

Endometrial tuberculosis lesions are widely distributed, including 76% in the uterosacral ligament and the rectouterine pouch. The lesions are also distributed in various parts of the pelvic cavity and the surface of pelvic organs. According to the location, they are divided into peritoneal endometrial tuberculosis, ovarian endometrial tuberculosis, etc.

Some patients with endometriosis have secondary infertility. During medical examination, the uterus is often retroverted and fixed, and tender nodules can be felt in the rectouterine pouch and other parts. Ovarian chocolate cysts can be found by ultrasound examination (B-ultrasound).

In short, as female friends, we must do a good job in preventing endometrial tuberculosis in our lives. It is recommended that women must avoid cesarean sections and give birth naturally. In addition, they should have more physical examinations to detect gynecological diseases early, thereby eliminating the need for surgical treatment and avoiding endometrial tuberculosis.
